Bellot
Minoterie is a family-owned French mill with a legacy dating back to 1550. For
over sixteen generations, the Bellot family has been involved in the grain
trade, evolving from flour merchants to expert millers. Since 1790, the company
has been based at its historic site, the Geoffret Mill in
Saint-Martin-de-Saint-Maixent, in the Deux-Sèvres region. With over 230 years
of milling expertise, Bellot Minoterie combines traditional know-how with
modern technology to produce high-quality flours trusted by artisan bakers in
France and around the world.
Since 2014, we have proudly held the exclusive distribution rights for Bellot flour in both China and Japan. Our partnership with Bellot Minoterie began over a decade ago, built on shared values of quality, tradition, and trust. This collaboration allows us to directly import their premium French flours, ensuring consistent quality for our clients and partners across Asia. As the official distributor, we are committed to promoting Bellot’s heritage and excellence, supporting artisan bakers and professionals who seek authentic French ingredients.
Bellot Minoterie sources its wheat from a carefully selected area within an 80 km radius around its historic mill in Saint-Martin-de-Saint-Maixent, in western France. This region includes the fertile lands near Cognac, known for their high-quality grain production. By working closely with local farmers, Bellot ensures full traceability and consistent quality, while supporting sustainable agriculture. This local sourcing is at the heart of Bellot’s commitment to authenticity and excellence in every bag of flour.
